An Original Vintage French Magazine (measures 7 1/2" x 11" [19 x 28 cm]) (Learn More) Key Largo, the 1948 John Huston crime film noir ("Killer against killer, gun to gun, on the hot spot of the Florida Keys!"; "A cast as explosive as its story!"; "You'll see the performances of your life in the hit of their lives!"; set in the Florida Keys during a hurricane!; based on the hit play by Maxwell Anderson) starring Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson, Lauren Bacall, Lionel Barrymore, Claire Trevor (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Thomas Gomez, John Rodney, Dan Seymour, Harry Lewis, and Marc Lawrence. Note that this was the final movie in which Humphrey Bogart co-starred with Lauren Bacall. They first met during the filming of "To Have and Have Not" in 1944, and then were married in 1945. They re-teamed for "The Big Sleep" in 1946, and then made "Dark Passage" the following year. They teamed again in for this movie in 1948, but they did not make another movie together, likely having a lot to do with their having two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a French magazine called "Le Film Complet", and each issue had an adaptation of a then current movie, with an image from the movie on the cover, and many small images from the movie scattered in the interior pages. It is like the "movie edition" hardcover books that were put out in the U.S. at the same time, except that this is a 8-page magazine. Apparently, the magazine "shrank" in size as the years went by, because we have seen mid 1930s ones that are 16 pages, and 1940s ones that are just 8 pages. Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: good to very good. Note that we have attempted to check to see if the magazine is complete and uncut, and we believe that it is. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazine. We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images. Please bid (or not bid) based on that overall grade and by viewing the super-sized images. Learn More about condition grades
