Poltavseva, Aleksandr Antonov, and Vladimir Barsky If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that a Japanese poster expert tells us that while the official Japanese release of this film was in 1967, this poster is from a 1950s "unofficial" release. Apparently, this poster was created to advertise screenings at local theaters by fans who had no other way to see the film!
What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a playdate snipe glued across the bottom of the poster and there were a few 1/2" and smaller tears scattered around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well (the linenbacker left the snipe on the bottom of the poster, which seems like the right decision to me!). Learn More about condition grades
