That Women Love!"; based on the novel 'The Lives of a Bengal Lancer' by F. Yeats Brown; about the British in India fighting against impossible odds and demonstrating great bravery; Gary Cooper is a Canadian Scotsman, and most of the movie focuses on the younger soldiers and their older mentors; there is a romantic subplot involving Kathleen Burke, but it is very brief and not memorable, but that is more the fault of the screenwriters than poor Miss Burke) starring Gary Cooper, Franchot Tone, Richard Cromwell, Sir Guy Standing, C. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. It seems extremely likely that the poster had its left blank border trimmed off, very slightly extending into the edge of the tagline at top left (we cannot locate another image of this poster to compare it to, because it seems to be incredibly rare!). The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and tiny tears and a few tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with some fine surface paper loss on small parts of some foldlines. There were some tiny tears and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed onto a thin linen with no excess, and at some point after it was backed, it was slightly roughly handled, and there are now some tiny creases and tears scattered down the left edge of the poster. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored! Learn More about condition grades
