An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More) Ken Maynard was one of the top cowboy actors from the 1920s to the 1940s. He was a First National star who switched to Columbia and became their biggest star next to Buck Jones, and he continued making B-westerns for studios such as Monogram. Some of his movies include: Heroes of the Range, Range Law, and Harmony Trail. Maynard appeared alongside his horse Tarzan in almost every one of his movies. He passed away in 1973 at the age of 77. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, tiny tears, and tiny areas of paper loss scattered down the vertical foldline, more so in the top quarter. There was some separation and creases in the horizontal folds and creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was fairly well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the restoration across the foldlines, especially in the top quarter of the vertical foldline. Learn More about condition grades
