What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some minor wear on the folds, with some creases and tears scattered near the folds. It had paper loss in the middle of the left and right blank borders, with some tears and paper loss around the edges, and a longer tear in the left border, extending into the blue "V". There were tears in the bottom center, extending through the taglines and into the art. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
