An Original Vintage Magazine #139 (measures 8 1/4" x 10 3/4" [21 x 27 cm]) (Learn More)

Rocket's Blast ComiCollector was an adzine for early comic book collectors. In the 1960s and 1970s, before there was a "Comics Buyer's Guide" (which was first published in 1971), where was the "RBCC", which was this magazine, first published by G.B. Love in 1961 (and later, with the help of Jim Van Hise). It was a compilation of advertisements from everyone who sold vintage comic books, back in those days before there was much of a hobby at all! From 1968 to 1976, Bruce Hershenson was a full time movie poster dealer and publisher, and he had regular ads in those issues, along with EVERYONE memorable in the hobby during those years!
Artist: Ralph Fowler
Important Added Info: Note that this is a special all Star Wars issue of this magazine, published in October 1977. Because at this time, comic book fans were considered to be a significant portion of the audience for this movie, the filmmakers went to great lengths to cooperate with the publishers of this magazine, and it is filled with great stories, photos, and artwork about Star Wars, much of which is surely original to this issue, including a 4-page parody comic strip called "Star Woes" by Ronald Wilbur! Also note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads. These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine.

Condition: good to very good. There is much scuffing on the back cover and slight scuffing on the front cover, but otherwise, the magazine is in pretty nice condition!
