An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Annabel Takes a Tour, the 1938 Lew Landers romantic Hollywood comedy sequel ("Come on in! - Smack into the inside of the movie business... On a hectic personal-appearance tour with unpredictable Annabel, screen star, and Pipedream Larry, fireball press agent!"; "Oakie at his funniest... Lucille at her loveliest... in the second big laugh show of the hilarious 'Annabel' series!") starring Jack Oakie, Lucille Ball (in the title role as Annabel Allison), Ruth Donnelly, Bradley Page, Ralph Forbes, Frances Mercer, and Clare Verdera NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see.
