An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Damon Runyon's The Lemon Drop Kid, the 1951 Sidney Lanfield screwball crime comedy ("Damon Runyon's zaniest guys and dolls come alive with laughter!"; "Story by Edmund Beloin"; "Based on Damon Runyon's Lemon Drop Kid"; about a drifter who is in debt to the mob; this is the movie that first featured the Christmas song classic, "Silver Bells") starring Bob Hope (who cross-dresses in the movie!), Marilyn Maxwell, Lloyd Nolan, Jane Darwell, Andrea King, Fred Clark, Harry Bellaver, William Frawley, Tor Johnson, and Ben Welden
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this title card clearly has a tiny "B" in the bottom left corner. I was under the impression that there were absolutely NO "style B" title cards, and that all title cards are the same as the style A half-sheet, and that the style B half-sheet contained artwork not seen on any other movie poster sizes (this is backed up by the fact that an awful lot of title cards have a "T/A" in the bottom right, indicating that they are both the title card and the style A half-sheet). So what explains the small "B" on this card? If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: fair to good. The card was lightly water stained throughout, and it has caused the card to be rippled throughout, but there is little discoloration. There are creases and tears in the right border and smudges around the edges. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
