An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 37") (Learn More) Santo en el Museo de Cera (released in the U.S. as "Samson in the Wax Museum"), the 1963 Alfonso Corona Blake & Manuel San Fernando Mexican lucha libre luchador masked hero wrestler wrestling science fiction (sci-fi) Wolfman Frankenstein horror thriller (Santo has to rescue a girl from a scientist who keeps people in suspended animation!) starring Santo (as himself!), Claudio Brook, Norma Mora, Ruben Rojo, and Roxana Bellini Artist: Cerezoc Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Also note that this Mexican poster measures 27" x 37" and is linenbacked. Condition: fair to good. The poster had many vertical tears across the middle foldline and many horizontal tears down the vertical foldline. There was paper loss at each crossfold and a 3" x 2" area of paper loss in the right of the middle foldline (half in the right edge of the mask of Santo, and half in the background next to it). There was a 1" x 2" area of paper loss in the top center of the poster extending into the forehead of the person at top center. There was a lesser number of, but still many, small tears and areas of paper loss in the top and bottom foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was definitely well backed, because it displays well in spite of the many above defects, and I think few people would come close to realizing the extent of the defects looking at the poster!
