A Linenbacked French Special Poster (measures 15" x 22 1/2" [38 x 57 cm]) (Learn More) Rouen, the 1967 French sports Formula One (F1) car racing poster promoting a race that took place at the Rouen-Les-Essarts racing circuit in Rouen, France on July 9th, which was sponsored by Craven "A" cigarettes. Note that this poster features great art of race cars in action by Michel Beligond Artist: Michel Beligond Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had its top 1" folded back and there were creases and a tiny bit of paper loss in that area. There was some tiny paper loss scattered in the bottom blank border and in small parts of the rest of the borders. There were some faint stains scattered in the light background areas and a brown stain in the background above the "U" at the center of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
