Date Sold 12/22/2013Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Mary Badham was the child actress of the 1960s, who will forever be remembered as Scout in "To Kill a Mockingbird". She was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award (at the time, the youngest person ever!). Oddly, she only made a very few additional film appearances, and then retired for 39 years, appearing in a single movie in 2005. Fans of "The Twilight Zone" will remember her well as "Sport" in the classic "The Bewitchin' Pool" episode wherein two children of divorcing parents escape through a swimming pool to the mysterious Aunt T., written by Earl Hamner Jr., creator of "The Waltons"! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Mary Badham! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good to fine. The still is in quite nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
