An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (40x60; measures 40" x 60" [102 x 152 cm]) (Learn More) 21 Days (released in the U.S. as "21 Days Together"), the 1940 Basil Dean English romantic crime murder thriller ("Excitingly Together!"; with a screenplay partly by Graham Greene, "Based on a story by John Galsworthy"; a man is accused of murder, and is given 21 days to prepare for his trial, and during that time he falls in love, and his girlfriend at first believes he is innocent, but as the days pass, she begins to have doubts) starring Vivien Leigh, Laurence Olivier, Leslie Banks, Francis L. Sullivan, and David Horne. Note that this film was completed in 1937 but was not released until after the success of Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind and Laurence Olivier in Wuthering Heights (and they had also recently divorced their respective spouses and married each other). The poster was never folded. It had a very long tear in the top center going through the middle of Olivier's hair to the right border. It had a long vertical tear down the center starting near the bottom of the image and running to the bottom border, with some tiny paper loss on that tear. Other than those two tears, the poster was in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
