An Original Vintage Hardcover Theater Exhibitor's Date Book (measures 4 3/4" x 7 3/4"; 194 pages) (Learn More) Fox Date Book 1931-32, the 1931 exhibitor's date book containing calendars, date logs, images of stars, and upcoming movies for the year including: Skyline, She Wanted A Millionaire, Wicked, Young As You Feel, and more! Note that this book was a very condensed version of their 1931-32 studio yearbook, with many of the same images printed in a smaller size, interspersed between the calendar pages. They would send these date books to all their exhibitors, with the hopes they would use them regularly to list the movies they played, and that it would remind them to continue to book Fox movies. Note that unlike most date books, this one is a true small hardcover book with professional binding at the spine. Important Added Info: Note that there is something really cool about this date book. Someone glued two stickers to the first interior page. One says "Prosperity is coming!", which certainly was the hope in 1931, if not the reality. The other is a great sticker for "Frankenstein", which has "The man who made a monster!", and "A Universal Picture" printed above the title, with a cool image of a shadowy monster. We have never seen this sticker before (see our image), and it is certainly original to 1931, when Frankenstein was about to be shown! Condition: very good. Someone wrote in the names of many of the movies that they showed in the calendar pages. They did so very neatly, and we don't consider this a defect. There are two stickers glued to the first interior page in the blank area (see above). Otherwise, the book is in pretty good condition! Learn More about condition grades
