There's a daffy Raffles on the loose!"; "The atomic bombshell of laughter"; "Based on a play by Paul Armstrong"; about a rich man who is jilted by a girl, and he becomes a kleptomaniac; a therapist advises him to find another girl fast, but the one he finds is a member of a gang of jewel thieves, and he unwittingly becomes involved in their robbery) starring Eddie Bracken, Veronica Lake, Albert Dekker, Willie Best, Lyle Latell, and Jack Norton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some bleed-through where there was a piece of tape on the back of each crossfold. There were some creases, scuffs, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. At some point after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired creases and light water stains in the top 2", both in the linen backing and in the poster itself (see our image). Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
