An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Follow the Sun, the 1951 Sidney Lanfield golf sports biography melodrama ("The real-life love story of two kids from Texas!"; "The Story of Valerie and Ben Hogan"; "based on an article by Frederick Hazlitt Brennan published in the Reader's Digest"; a fictionalized biography of superstar golfer Ben Hogan, who was injured in a car crash, yet came back to have great success as a professional golfer!) starring Glenn Ford (as Ben Hogan), Anne Baxter (as Valerie Hogan), Dennis O'Keefe, June Havoc, Larry Keating, Roland Winters, and Nana Bryant. Note that at this time, Hollywood studios were reluctant to advertise sports biography movies from the sports angle, and so, for this movie, as they did for so many other sports movies, the poster does not mention the word "golf" at all, and there is only a tiny inset image that shows Ben Hogan golfing!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
