Hinds, Frank Hagney, Karolyn Grimes, Virginia Patton, and Todd Karns NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is undated, but we think it is quite likely that it is a 1950s re-release (probably from 1956 or after, possibly from when the movie was sold to be shown on TV). We have seen other stills from classic 1930s and 1940s movies that have similar snipes on the back and are on a similar paper stock, and most of them date from 1956 or soon after, when studios re-struck stills from the original negatives for theatrical or TV re-releases of those classic movies. Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Note that this still has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has "TRR" running down the center. One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that the still (and many others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of the stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us! Condition: very good. There is slight darkening in parts of the blank borders, but the still is otherwise in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
