An Original Vintage Theater-Used Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 3/4" x 30 1/4" [35 x 77 cm]) (Learn More) Between Two Women, the 1945 Willis Goldbeck medical doctor romantic love triangle melodrama ("When Van Johnson kisses - it's something to remember!"; about a young doctor who has to dodge his girlfriend's proposals of marriage while helping people in the town with their problems; based on the characters created by Max Brand) starring Van Johnson (who took over from Lew Ayres as Dr. Gillespie's new protege), Lionel Barrymore (as Dr. Giillespie), Gloria DeHaven, Keenan Wynn, Marilyn Maxwell, Alma Kruger, Marie Blake and Keye Luke. Note that the Dr. Kildare movies were made between 1938 and 1947, but that Lew Ayres left the series in 1942, and six more films were made WITHOUT Dr. Kildare, but WITH Dr. Gillespie (played as always by Lionel Barrymore), who became top billed in those six movies, and of course, they could not be official "Dr. Kildare movies", because the lead character was no longer at the hospital. There are some stains and smudges throughout the back of the poster that slightly bleed through to the front (more so at upper and lower left). The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in an extra horizontal fold at top, middle, and bottom. There are a few 1 1/2" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster.
