La Mariee Etait en Noir (released in the U.S. as "The Bride Wore Black"), the 1968 Francois Truffaut French/Italian crime murder mystery suspense thriller ("She was a bride when the violence happened... now she's a widow and it's going to happen again."; "The five men who killed the groom made one mistake... They should have killed the bride"; based on the novel by William Irish) starring Jeanne Moreau, Michel Bouquet, Jean-Claude Brialy, Charles Denner, Claude Rich, Daniel Boulanger, Michel Lonsdale, Alexandra Stewart, and Jean Louis Richard. If you think this story sounds familiar to Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies, you're right! However, Tarantino has stated that he's never seen this film.

Important Added Info: This Polish poster measures 22 1/2" x 32 1/4" and is folded. Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. small area of paper loss with some 3/4" tears extending from it in the lower left edge (see the image below) as well as a 2" tear in the upper right edge and a few 1" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster (some repaired with tape from the back); light stains and areas of discoloration around the edges of the poster from exposure to moisture; horizontal creases across the credits area at top as well as minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so around the edges)
