An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Russian Movie Poster (measures 27 3/4" x 41 3/4") (Learn More)

Tol'able David, the 1921 Henry King silent family relationship romantic crime melodrama ("Adapted from the Saturday Evening Post Story by Joseph Hergesheimer"; about the youngest son of a small town family who is forced to grow up when tragedy strikes) starring Richard Barthelmess (in the title role as David), Gladys Hulette, Walter P. Lewis, Ernest Torrence, Ralph Yearsley, "and an all star cast". Note that a clip from this movie was shown in the horror movie "The Tingler" (which has a sequence set inside of a movie theater that shows silent movies!).
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this Russian poster measures 27 3/4" x 41 3/4".

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. Because of the kind of paper the poster was printed on, it is difficult to tell if there were any smudges in the background areas or the borders, or if it is just the kind of paper the poster was printed on. In any event, the poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
