An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Stolen Holiday, the 1937 Michael Curtiz romantic love triangle politics blackmail scandal melodrama ("Once to every woman comes a love like this!"; very loosely based on the real life Stavisky affair, a French political scandal of the 1930s, involving a con man who worked his way into high French political circles, and his wife, who falls in love with a government official; in real life, the man at the center of the scandal committed suicide, but that was considered inappropriate for the movie, so his character was murdered!) starring Kay Francis, Claude Rains, Ian Hunter, Alison Skipworth, and Alexander D'Arcy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. There are scratches and loss in the bottom left corner. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
