Deliverance, the classic 1972 John Boorman (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) river-men-on-weekend-canoe-trip-meet-beastial-mountain-men-who-do-unspeakable-things thriller ("This is the weekend they didn't play golf"; "What did happen on the Cahulawassee River?"; "Where does the camping trip end... and the nightmare begin...?"; "Screenplay by James Dickey Based on his Novel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, Ronny Cox, Herbert 'Cowboy' Coward (as the "Toothless Man"), Hoyt Pollard (as the boy at the gas station who plays the banjo), and James Dickey (in a memorable cameo as the sheriff at the end of the movie)

Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny creases and fine surface paper loss on parts of most foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). The edges of the borders of the poster are lighter than the rest of the poster (likely because they were under a mat). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
