Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had several horizontal folds and one vertical fold, with fine surface paper loss and scuffs on parts of the foldlines. It also had tears and paper loss in the top border and a few small tears in the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
