Michener's The Bridges at Toko-Ri, the 1954 Mark Robson Korean War military romantic action thriller ("From the Novel by James A. Michener"; "Screenplay by Valentine Davies"; about a Navy fighter pilot who must come to terms with his own ambivalence towards the war and the fear of having to bomb a set of highly defended bridges) starring William Holden, Grace Kelly, Fredric March, Mickey Rooney, Robert Strauss, Charles McGraw, Keiko Awaji, and Earl Holliman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are slightly noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "Pre-Restoration Defects & Quality of Restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had light wear along the foldlines and several pinholes in the top corners. There were creases, smudges, and a few very tiny tears in the borders.
