Sherlock Holmes, the 1930s cigar label ("Rum cured crooks") that features art of the famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes created by Arthur Conan Doyle. If anyone knows more about this label, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that many years ago, when smoking cigars was quite popular, people would purchase boxes of them, and the box would have an attractive label glued to the lid. Sometimes people acquired labels that were not glued, and they can be very attractive when displayed, but they are quite rare (in all our years of auctioning, we have auctioned a tiny number of them). We were consigned a collection of 62 unglued labels, mostly in excellent condition, and we are auctioning them now, in 62 separate auctions.
