It's a spectacle light years ahead of its time from 20th Century Fox."; "Written and Directed by George Lucas"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Peter Cushing (as Grand Moff Tarkin), Alec Guinness (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Obi-Wan Kenobi), Anthony Daniels (as C-3PO), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), David Prowse (billed as "Dave Prowse"; as the man inside the Darth Vader suit!), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), and Phil Brown (as Uncle Owen) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was issued in two different ways in 1977. One poster was a regular teaser poster, with a black background and grey text and borders. The other looks exactly the same, except that it was printed on a foil coated paper with the black printed over the foil! While both posters are very desired by Star Wars collectors, the foil version is more desirable, and it is very difficult to find in even fairly good condition (because the foil scuffs so easily). Condition: fine. There is a tiny crease in the top left and bottom right silver corners. There are the tiniest of creases throughout the poster. Anyone who has ever owned any of the special foil one-sheets created around this time (for Star Wars and other movies). Note that this poster was never folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult!
