An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 25" x 38" [64 x 97 cm]) (Learn More) WAAC (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps), the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) recruitment poster ("This is my war too!"; "United States Army") encouraging women to join WAAC, and featuring Dan V. Smith art of a woman in uniform standing in front of the American flag. Note that this poster was produced in at least two sizes. One measures 9" x 12 1/2", and the other measures 25" x 38". Artist: Dan V. Smith Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster has darkened somewhat and become very brittle with age. There are several tears and some areas of tattering and paper loss around the edges and there are creases throughout the poster. Many of the tears or other defects as described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back.
