An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Three Ages, the 1923 Buster Keaton & Edward F. Cline silent fantasy screwball time travel comedy ("The Frozen Faced Comedian's Funniest Farce"; "A Screaming Burlesque on Modern Civilization"; "Story and Titles by Jean Havez, Joe Mitchell, Clyde Bruckman"; with Buster doing his classic comedy in the Stone Age, the Roman Age, and the then Modern Age) starring Buster Keaton, Margaret Leahy, Wallace Beery, Lillian Lawrence, Joe Roberts, and Kewpie Morgan. Note that this was Keaton's first feature film, and it was designed so that if it failed at the box office, it could be turned into a series of shorts.

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1923 posters and lobby cards from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned two different lobby cards (a scene card and a title card) from this movie until we were consigned this scene card, as well as two other scene cards (and we are auctioning the three of them in three separate auctions)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. The card had some creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss around the edges, with a few faint stains and smudges scattered in the image, and some tape stains on the back of the borders, and a repaired 3/4" tear in the top center of the card. Someone performed restoration to the above defects without backing the card. It displays well, but you can see slight signs of the restoration.
