An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Way of the West, the 1934 Robert Emmett Tansey cowboy western ("A Rough Rider western"; about a Montana town where cattlemen are trying to run settlers off, and a stranger arrives in town and is hired by one of the families to help them against the cattlemen, and he does, and falls in love with one of the pretty settlers, and it turns out that he was actually a government agent working undercover) starring William Desmond, Hal Taliaferro (billed as "Wally Wales"), Art Mix, Bill Patten, Bobby Nelson, Myrla Bratton, and James Sheridan. Note that the plot of this movie is extremely similar to that of the classic western "Shane", and one wonders if the author of the source novel that Shane was based on saw this movie before writing his book! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned ANY movie paper for this title in all our years of auctioning! Condition: fair to good. The poster has extra horizontal and vertical folds. It was separating on the bottom horizontal fold, and there is tape on back of that area. It also had tears and tiny paper loss along portions of the edges and there is tape on the back of some of them and also a few other pieces of tape on the back of some other fold separation. After proper restoration the poster will look fantastic, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
