An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 21" x 26 1/2") (Learn More) The Better Way, the 1926 Ralph Ince silent romantic love triangle stock market business comedy ("The drama of a woman who traded rags for riches!"; about a secretary in a Wall Street office who secretly loves her boss, and a shy bookkeeper is in love with her, but then the boss helps her make money in the stock market, and she gets an extreme makeover, and the boss falls for her, but she refuses, but everything works out in the end!) starring Ralph Ince, Dorothy Revier, Eugene Strong, Hazel Howell, and Armand Kaliz. Note that Ralph Ince both directed and appeared in this movie, playing the shy bookkeeper (and although he did not have the leading role, he used his director's hat to get himself top billing!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. A small part of each of the blank borders was neatly trimmed off and the poster now measures 21" x 26 1/2". The entire poster had darkened somewhat. There were creases along both foldlines and around the edges of the poster. There was surface paper loss in the leg of the woman at right. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
