Wellman south-of-the-border Mexico/Old California romantic cowboy western ("The bandit who defied a nation!"; "The bandit who fought a nation!"; about a Mexican man whose wife is killed by four Americans, and he kills them in revenge, and a reward is put on his head; he joins with other bandits and creates a Mexican army rallying against the U.S., of course this was very loosely based on the real life story of Pancho Villa) starring Warner Baxter (as Joaquin Murrieta), Ann Loring, Bruce Cabot, Margo, J. Carrol Naish, Soledad Jimenez, Carlos De Valdez, and Harry Woods NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had many creases, tears, and small areas of paper loss along parts of many folds, with some scattered in the rest of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, especially in the solid red areas, where there has been much paint restoration.
