Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

Die Trapp-Familie (released in the U.S. in 1960 as "The Trapp Family"), the 1956 Wolfgang Liebeneiner German musical romantic family melodrama ("...And then came the surprising day when Sister Maria came out of the sacred convent to give her love to a man - and her songs to the world"; "All the more wonderful because all of it is true!"; "- A happy nun's story!"; "We like to sing for the people"; "An inspiring screen story..."; this movie was about the real life family from "The Sound of Music", but of course, it was made nine years PRIOR to that classic musical; it was followed two years later by a sequel, "Die Trapp-Familie in Amerika" [The Trapp Family in America]) starring Ruth Eluwerik (as Baroness Maria Trapp), Hans Holt (as Baron Trapp), Maria Holst, Josef Meinrad, Friedrich Domin, and Hilde Von Stolz
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. There are minor creases in the poster but more so in the foldlines and borders. There is minor separation at the bottom crossfold.
