Important Added Info: Note that at some point in the past ten to twenty years, some major English collector had reproductions made of sets of English front of house lobby cards. We had never auctioned any of these until 2019, when we were consigned 22 of them, and we auctioned them, and they sold for prices between $62 and $8 each. Now we have the remaining 16 of these that this consignor sent to us, and then we have no more (and we have never auctioned any previously, so we might never have anymore!). We suspect that only a limited amount of each of these were made, but we really don't know. From the front, they look very much like original front of house lobby sets, but they are printed on a pure white paper, and when you turn them over, it is very obvious that they are reproductions, because of the white backs. We are auctioning these so that collectors who could never find (or possibly afford) the original sets can purchase these exact reproductions, but obviously, we don't want anyone who buys them from us to try to resell them as originals (but as we say, that is unlikely, because of the pure white backs). We only have one of each set, and we are offering 16 different REPRODUCTION sets, in 16 different auctions. Condition: very good to fine.
