What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The print had large paper loss in the bottom right corner that extended into the bottom right corner of the image. There were also many tears and smudges around the edges of the poster, including ones that extended into the top sky area. There was a 6" tear near the center of the bottom border. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
