An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The End of the Affair, the 1955 Edward Dmytryk English London England romantic World War II (WWII) war-time melodrama ("Was this... 'The End of the Affair' - or just the beginning?"; "From the novel by Graham Greene") starring Deborah Kerr ("The star of From Here To Eternity in her most magnificent performance!"; "in another man's arms!"; "Her first screen role since From Here To Eternity"; "The star of From here To Eternity in a role she'll be remembered for!"), Van Johnson ("The star of The Caine Mutiny in the screen's most coveted lover role!"; "The star of The Caine Mutiny at his greatest!"; "A new kind of role for the sensational star of The Caine Mutiny!"; "Another magnificent achievement for the star of The Caine Mutiny!"), John Mills, Stephen Murray, Nora Swinburne, Charles Goldner, and Peter Cushing NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. NOTE THAT THE IMAGE ON THIS SLIDE IS QUITE A BIT "OFF CENTER"! This is the first time I have seen this occur to a glass slide, and it is a manufacturing error, not a defect that occurred after it was made. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
