An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Before I Hang, the 1940 Nick Grinde science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("Chill-filled, thrill-jammed tale of a monster!"; "Karloff's search for the secret of youth leaves a trail of lifeless victims!"; "Karloff kills... to turn time backward!"; about a scientist imprisoned for a mercy killing who creates a rejuvenation serum in prison that has the odd side effect of making the user a sort of Jekyll & Hyde type of monster!) starring Boris Karloff, Evelyn Keyes (in one of her first starring roles!), Bruce Bennett, Edward Van Sloan, Ben Taggart, and Don Beddoe NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny bits of paper loss along the top fold, with some creases along all three folds. It had light horizontal creases scattered through the poster, with some creases and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
