He was the head of the revolution that led to the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, leading the country until until he passed away in 1976 at the age of 82. His book, "Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-tung" (known in the West as "The Little Red Book") was first published in 1964, and some sources say it sold 6.5 billion copies (but no one can say for sure, although virtually every Chinese citizen had to have a copy during the 1960s!). Condition: good to very good. We have no way of verifying if the record is playable, but it appears to be. Learn More about condition grades
