eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 4x275 ART LINKLETTER signed 8x10 publicity still 1967 great smiling portrait in suit & tie! Date Sold 3/24/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Art Linkletter was an author, radio & TV host from the 1950s to the 2000s. Some of his works include: the long-running radio and TV show "House Party" (and the famous segment of that show called "Kids Say the Darnedest Things"), radio's "People Are Funny", and he had an appearance in the movie Champagne for Caesar. He passed away in 2010 at the age of 97. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Art Linkletter! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that this signed item is from the estate of Gino Empry, who was a legendary Toronto publicist and agent from the early 1960s through the early 2000s (he passed away in 2006). He had publicity photos of celebrities he worked with that were personalized to him and signed attached to his walls, and many of those were consigned to us, and while we have no certificate of authenticity, we are 100% certain they are authentic (although many have some damage that was caused by their being attached to a wall or being roughly removed). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good. There is staining in the bottom left corner and wear around the edges (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
