An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Angela Lansbury was an English actress from the 1940s to 2022. She is probably best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's "Murder She Wrote". Some of her movies include: Gaslight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), National Velvet, The Picture Of Dorian Gray (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Manchurian Candidate (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Beauty and the Beast. Oddly, she looked older than her years in her earliest movies, but then she pretty much stopped aging, for several decades! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Angela Lansbury! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
