An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 1/2" x 30" [34 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Universal Pictures, the 1950s Australian stock poster for theaters showing Universal Pictures films (first release and re-releases). Theaters would order this poster which had a large blank area for the title of the film being shown. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, sometimes they sent paper snipes with the specific titles, and sometimes theater-owners simply wrote the title of the films in the blank area.

Important Added Info: For unknown reasons, this 1950s Universal stock poster was used by Warner Bros/Roadshow to advertise a 1970s re-release of Westbound!

Condition: fair to good. Part of the artwork at lower center has been over-painted.
