Agnew was a politician who served as the 39th Vice President of the United States from 1969 to 1973, under President Richard Nixon. In 1973, he was investigated on charges of extortion, tax fraud, bribery, and conspiracy. Agnew was allowed to plead no contest to a single charge that he had failed to report income, with the condition that he resign the office of Vice President. Agnew was the second Vice President in United States history to resign, and the only one to do so because of criminal charges. Critics have cited Agnew as being one of the worst Vice Presidents in American history. He passed away in 1996 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: Note that this board game was created in 1971, when Mr. Agnew was vice president, but of course, before he was forced to resign in disgrace! Also note that this is one of 120 board games we are auctioning in this set of auctions. It is a remarkable collection that covers all decades and genres. Most are movie or TV related in some way (often based on a specific movie or TV show, but sometimes on a character). All of the games were actually used and played with. We can't say if the games are complete, especially in regards to the small pieces. We have photographed the cover of the game, the inside of the cover (if relevant), the board, and the game pieces, and we include the length and width measurements of the box. We have assigned each game an overall condition grade, but because we are FAR from experts in these board games, we don't have a basis for how to grade them, and we are just taking a good guess as to how to grade them. We also have already packed the games so that they will be quickly ready to ship, so they can't be opened, and therefore we can't look at any of them to give further information beyond what is seen in our images. If you bought them one at a time, it would surely take years to assemble a collection like this, but all of these will have new owners when these auctions end, because all are being sold with no reserve, and all start at just $1! Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package (sometimes a very large oversized package; see the dimensions of the item).
