An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Paramount Week, the 1922 poster ("Fifth Annual Paramount Week"; "Your national-joy week"; "Keep it open"; "Sept. 3rd - 9th"; "It's Paramount Week") advertising a Paramount studios promotion. Note that many theaters at this time only showed the product of one or two studios, so the studios would offer these kinds of incentives to the theaters to try to get them to book only their product during a single week. Note that this was the "fifth annual" such event, indicating it began in 1918, and we know that it continued through 1939 at least (we have seen ones from several different events, including the first one, the one from 1939, and several from in between those dates)!
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fair to good. The poster has many creases scattered throughout. It has staining mainly in the right half and some of that staining has mildew, and there is some deterioration and paper loss at top (see our image). The poster is in need of restoration. Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above, and after, the poster will display really well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
