An Original 1955 (from the first Argentinean release of this movie) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More) Bellissima (literally translates to "Beautiful"), the 1951 (released in the U.S. in 1953) Luchino Visconti Italian mother-daughter-relationship movie acting melodrama (about an obsessed stage mother who wants to make her young child a star, at any price; this movie is just as timely today as it was 56 years ago!) starring Anna Magnani, Walter Chiari, Tina Apicella, Gastone Renzelli, and Tecla Scarano NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Osvaldo Venturi Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some minor wear on the folds. The top and bottom 1 1/2" of the poster was folded back at one time and there were staple holes along both those folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
