Note that this is one of an amazing collection of 62 linenbacked Australian daybills that all have great art from Richardson Studio (or John Richardson, before he became "Richardson Studio"!), which many collectors feel have the best art and design of any Australian daybills, and are highly sought after by collectors. These were accumulated by a very dedicated collector over many years, and they are now being all offered at once (in 62 separate auctions), so this is a wonderful opportunity to obtain one or many of these daybills, many of which rarely are offered for sale or at auction. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had areas of paper loss in the corners and in the middle left and middle right, and the poster had darkened somewhat. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking.
