The romance is contagious!"; "A girl's gotta' be good these days... good and smart!"; "She didn't mind being a waitress... if she didn't have to wait too long for love with Mel in Paris in the spring!"; about a waitress in a Midwest town who goes to New York to become a gold digger and hopefully find a rich husband, and she gets mixed up with a nice wealthy family, and her conscience keeps her from following her plan) starring Melvyn Douglas, Joan Blondell, Walter Connolly, Alan Curtis, Joan Perry, and Sam McDaniel.
