Condition: very good. The poster had some creases and scuffs scattered throughout, with a few faint smudges. There were tears, smudges, and stains around the edges of the poster. Some very talented restorer performed slight touch up to the poster without backing it (primarily to the blank border defects). They left the more minor defects alone, and just slightly improved the appearance, and I very much approve of this sort of restoration, because the poster now displays better than it did, and you have no sense that you are looking at a restored poster, and the defects that remain are not very noticeable or distracting!
