An Original Vintage Unfolded Two-Sided Special Movie Poster (measures 18" x 37" [46 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) Superman the Legend Returns, the 1988 50th anniversary commemorative poster made to honor the creators of Superman, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster ("HONORING JERRY SIEGEL & JOE SHUSTER On the occasion of the Man of Steel's 50th Birthday 1938-1988 Cleveland, Ohio"; "Neverending Battle, Inc.") The poster is printed on both sides. One side shows Clark Kent in a phonebooth preparing to change to his alter-ego. The reverse shows Superman flying out of the phone booth! Note that this special poster was made in 1988, and at that time the poster sold for $15. Each poster was packaged rolled in a brown cardboard mailing tube (with white caps on each end). Each tube has a two-inch square sticker on the outside that reads, "SUPERMAN*, 'The Legend Returns', Proceeds from this poster go to Neverending Battle, Ic., The Hanna Building, Cleveland, Ohio 44115, Honoring Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, During the Man of Steel's 50th Birthday, 1938-1988" and "$15.00 Limited Edition". The poster is printed on high quality, heavy weight coated paper stock. We have located a supply of these posters, each in the original mailing tube, and each in perfect condition! While our supply lasts, we are offering them for just $90, and you get the original mailing tube as well! IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE SHIPPING OF THIS ITEM: We usually ship this item with its original mailing tube (placed inside one of our mailing tubes so the original tube is not damaged). However, if you want the poster combined with any other items you purchase, we can remove the poster from its tube and send only the poster and not the original mailing tube, but you have to request that we do so if you want to combine this poster with other rolled items.
