Green military Navy Naval romantic melodrama (based on the story, "The Goldfish Bowl", by Mary McCall; about a submarine officer who becomes a hero when he saves many of his men from his sinking ship, and his life turns into one of parades, honors, and celebrity, but he misses his old life) starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Mary Brian, Harold Minjir, Emma Dunn, Walter Catlett, and David Landau NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
