Also note that this poster is related to a major movie poster controversy! There is no doubt that this poster is an original from 1970 (it was originally machine folded and when you hold it to the light, you can see an NSS stamp on the back. But less than a year ago, a dealer surfaced with a huge number of examples of a different style C poster, which has the same image as this, but with the credits from the style B poster, and yet it still has the same "C style" that this poster has on the bottom, thus "merging" the two posters. The newly offered posters are all unfolded and in nice condition, which has led some dealers (including Bruce Hershenson) to conclude they were created at a later date (especially because no one in the hobby had ever seen or heard of this poster before). There are many people currently working on solving this mystery, but know that the poster offered here is absolutely 100% certainly the original 1970 style C teaser poster! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was used in New Zealand and it has a New Zealand rating stamp in the lower left. Otherwise, it has very minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
