Cline silent Native American Indian cowboy western slapstick comedy short (about bad guys who tell Native American Indians they have to leave their land within one day, and they vow to kill any white men who show up to make them leave, and Buster wanders by, and at first they try to kill him, but then he joins their tribe and saves their land!) starring Buster Keaton (in the title role as Little Chief Paleface), Joe Roberts, and Virginia Fox NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned four lobby cards from this movie, and we have NEVER auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card was folded down the middle. It has some creases and tiny bits of surface paper loss along that fold. It had slight darkening in the right edge of the right blank border and a small tear in the top left corner, with a 3/4" tear in the middle of the left border. It had tiny pairs of staple holes in each corner. Someone once performed restoration to the card, but after the restoration was performed, it acquired surface paper loss in the center of the top and bottom blank borders. Obviously, any restorer could perform restoration to the border surface paper loss, and of course, one could simply frame the card where that surface paper loss did not show. One would prefer to find an example of this card that does not have these defects, but we don't know that such a card exists, and the defects are very limited to the borders and the fold down the center, and otherwise, the card is in nice condition (see our images).
