The poster was promoting the travel via the Chemins de fer de Paris a Lyon et a la Mediterranee railway, and the Compagnie Generale Transatlantique shipping company. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had a few small tears, pinholes, and creases around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but there are two small areas in the top left background area where the poster is slightly "lifting" from the linen (it is not very noticeable, and any talented restorer can re-glue this area without re-backing the poster).
